Grammy – Award winner, multi-platinum artist, world-class composer, master collaborator, talent manager and all-around gentleman Ne-Yo lands once again to Philippine shores for a full concert at the SM Mall of Asia Concert Grounds on Jan. 9, 2010, 8 p.m. He will be accompanied by his new discovery, Puerto Rican singer, Jadyn Maria and fronted by Half Asian, Half European Pop Girl Group, Eurasia.

Ne-Yo’s full concert shall feature his chart-topping hits, Closer, Mad, Miss Independent, Single and Part of the List from his latest record, Year of the Gentleman. In his album, Ne-Yo constructed a suite of songs that shows exactly what he means by class. Written over the course of travels through Europe last year and influenced by his own fascination with the Rat Pack, Ne-Yo explains, "For me, the sharpness of Sammy and Sinatra is the kind of style I strive for in clothes and music. Year of the Gentleman is named in honor of those guys."

Like the best artists, Ne-Yo's music has an eternal sound that appeals to fans of all ages. "As a songwriter as well as a singer, I think it's important to cast my words wide. In other words, I am not trying to contain myself in some little box marked 'urban.' I have traveled the world, and I want to bring that across in the material. Forget about urban, pop or whatever, Year of the Gentleman is a worldly album."

Being the most coveted R&B artist of all time, Ne-Yo has been busy juggling performing, touring and just recently, also penning and promoting a song he wrote for Disney’s anticipated classic cartoon, big screen movie Princess and the Frog where he performed the movie’s theme song, Never Knew I Needed. The movie shall be shown on February 3, 2010 here in the Philippines by Walt Disney Pictures Philippines.

Aside from composing the songs in Year of the Gentleman and Pricness and the Frog Ne-Yo also recently showed his writing prowess, penning lyrics for Rihanna, Janet Jackson, Mary J. Blige and Celine Dion as well as the chart topping, record breaking, Grammy nominated song "Irreplaceable" for Beyonce.

A second time’s a charm for Ne-Yo’s visit. This time around, Ne-Yo sets his concert apart from his sold out first concert by providing a full blast production where he even brought more than 30 artists with him to complete his entourage. One of which is a respected executive from Ne-Yo’s home label, Island Def Jam who is a full blooded Filipina.

Get the chance to re-live Ne-Yo’s hits from his new album, Year of the Gentleman as well as his pre-loved anthems like Go On Girl, So Sick, Sexy Love, Because of You and many others by getting your tickets to his concert at Ticketworld outlets and Ne-Yo’s after concert venue, Alchemy.
