John Lloyd and Toni Team up in Star Cinema's pre-Christmas Valentine flick

Close on the heels of - Till My Heartaches End, starring Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson, Star Cinema is set to release another romance-comedy-drama to usher in the Christmas season.

Aptly touted as a pre-Christmas Valentine Offering

"My Amnesia Girl" brings together John Lloyd Cruz and Toni Gonzaga for the first time in a movie, a new match calculated to set off romantic explosions, what with the "magic touch" of director Cathy Garcia-Molina that has been amply proven in several Star Cinema flicks.

In the story, John Lloyd plays Apollo, the only remaining bachelor in the barkada being pressured by his friends to settle down already. But Apollo has a phobia for commitment. Then, he bumps into Toni as Irene, the girlfriend he left two years earlier, with regrets especially when he realized that Irene was "the one who got away."

Apollo wants to win Irene back but there's a problem
Irene developed amnesia after a tragic accident and she doesn't remember anything, not having been dropped by Apollo two years ago.

The question: Will Irene come back to her senses as Apollo pursues her with a passion?

Working with John Lloyd and Toni is not new to direk Cathy

I've worked with  both of them in a few movies, so we know one another's working attitude - Quote from direk Cathy who has become known as box-office director in her own right because all her projects have been not only commercially but also critically successful.

"It's always fun working with them separately and it's doubtly fun working with them together," added direk Cathy

From Star Cinema, directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina
John Lloyd Cruz
Toni Gonzaga

also starring: Ketchup Eusebio, Carlos Agassi, JM de Guzman, Joross Gamboa, Nico Antonio, Cai Cortez, Bea Saw, and Dianne Medina
