BEP set history on its Manila concert
The biggest concert of 2011, Black Eyed Peas performed last October 25 at SM Mall of Asia Concert Grounds. Members Will.i.am, Taboo, Fergie, and our very own Apl.de.ap had its momentous concert with their extravagant production, electrifying performance and spectacular light display.
On its presscon, the day before the concert date - the group shared their stories and how much they loved the Philippines. As they continue to reminisce all those joyous events that the group had including how passionate they are in pursuing and entering the music scene; specially Apl.de.ap where he decided to form an organization "We can be anything" helping all youth to finish their studies and make a goal. The presscon was very casual and we had so much fun discovering how much the group cherished their friendship. As Fergie said that these boys were her 'brothers' and how much they cared for each other. It was also revealed on that day that the group decided to take a break and the Philippines might be their last leg.
Most of their songs were topnotcher, including Where is the Love, Let's Get it Started, Hey Mama, Shut Up, Don't Phunk With my Heart, I Gotta Feeling, My Humps, Don't Lie, Just Can't Get Enouch, Boom Boom Pow, Pump It, Imma Be, Meet Me Halfway, The Time (Dirty Bit), and Don't Stop The Party.
The crowd's energy was too high on that night, singing together, applauding and salute each members for their individual performances. That was one of the most memorable concert experience that I had and I would like to thank personally, Futuretainment. MMI and the concert's sponsors for making it happen.
