One Direction: Successful Album Launch in Manila
I just watched the event launch video and the girls were really having fun on that day! I remembered those 'crazy days of my life' :) so I can relate to this one. I am not yet familiar with this group, One Direction but thanks to Youtube for giving me such goosebumps on some of their videos with fans screaming on the background.

ONE ALBUM . ONE HUGE EVENT. STILL NUMBER ONE!
One Launch! One Big Event!
It seems the British invasion is still alive and well with the boys from One Direction creating a fan frenzy as they release their debut album locally.
Last February 11, Juan Directioners (which was what Pinoy One Directioners joyfully refer themselves as) all rushed out to AstroPlus at SM North, the Block for the launch of the limited edition version of the band’s debut album “Up All Night” and formal launch of the album.
Even before the 10 AM opening, fans were already camping out outside the mall and lining up to have a chance to get their own copy of this popular British-Irish boy band’s album. The Limited Edition versions were quickly snatched up with pre-orders being done as early as three weeks before the release date. Fans brought their own signs and billboards, with most expressing their wish the One Direction perform in the Philippines. A plaque was also awarded to One Direction Philippines for the hard work and support that they gave during the One Direction launch. With a huge turnout of more than 1, 200 people, the day ended with a short program where fans performed the band’s songs and even petitioned to have the group perform in the Philippines. More than 1,500 units were sold during this one day affair, making this one truly successful event indeed!

No. 1 in all stores!
Aside from the successful launch, the album is still currently no. 1 in the two biggest music retailers with “Up All Night” reaching the top spot of the Odyssey music charts and for the second week running, no. 1 at the Astrocharts!
Still No. 1, 4 weeks running!
One Direction mania is still going strong as the group’s third single “One Thing” is still reigning atop the MYX weekly Top 20 charts! It seems that there are no stopping these boys as fans are readily waiting for what they will next move will be.
So get yourself into the right direction and grab your copy of One Direction’s “Up All Night” available at all music stores for P430, with the limited edition also available at P550, while supplies last!
