The rise of electronic music with SomeDayDream
I'm not new with this music genre. I've been listening to several electropop music in the industry like Owl City, Pet Shop Boys, Erasure and La Roux. The use of this (digital and synthesizer based) has a great influence to many individuals and performers such as our own talent, SomeDayDream.
Electronic music began in the late 60s and today there were variations of elements wherein artists integrated their recorded music to establish a new sound. You can even record your own voice and use interface devices like Apple iPad or digital software but not 'all' has a talent to come up with a successful song.
Synthesizer, This electronic musical instrument is commonly use, also known as 'keyboards' wherein you can imitate sounds of different instruments and convert sounds using software. Interfaces also differ to different modern synthesizers, it can be fingerboards, wind controllers, guitar-style, drum pads, music sequencers, or tangible interface.
Getting to Know more of SomeDayDream
Born under the zodiac sign of Sagittarius (November 28, 1990), Rez (SomeDayDream's first name) narrated how music changed his life. He was a former band member during his High School days and pursue making his own new music. An open-minded, talented and promising artist - SomeDayDream is making a scene in the OPM industry.
Discovered by Champ Lui Pio, his song "Hey Daydreamer" became one of the LSS of many Filipinos because the song was used in Cornetto ice cream. At first, I didn't know that the song was sung by a Filipino talent until I browse Youtube and found out it was SomeDayDream. I've met this young musician at the Candy Fair together with Champ. I thought he was just any ordinary balladeer (but am wrong!).
"Everything happened so fast and it's really exciting, I'm definitely looking forward for more great things this year and you should watch out for that!" -SomeDayDream
