Wow, I was surprised to found out that there is a huge demand on McDonald's Hello Kitty Fairy Tales plush toy and the crowd went empty handed when the toys were sold out. Some Hello Kitty fanatics gone wild, complaining and began fighting for each line in order to get these cool stuffs. Okay, I was a big fan of Before Sunrise and Before Sunset . The moment I've found out that Before Midnight is soon to release, I was excited. I know this movie is far away different from any other romantic story that you have imagined. I mean, a couple who now lives in Paris with twin girls having a good vacation in Greece, and now what happened next? The first scene was when Jesse dropped off his son, Hank at the airport and then puzzled Jesse when Hank said that "mom hates you so much," thinking that what went really wrong during his past relationship with his ex-wife and hurting him so much because he couldn't be there to support his son. It took more than 10 minutes (around 14 minutes or more I guess) in one scene when driving home, my eyes got tired but I still managed to focused on their conversation and they talked about too many things about life and their relationship.

I think we were blessed yesterday afternoon when we bumped and met these gorgeous men at SM Megamall on two separate events: SM Mens Fashion Ambassadors and Philippine Volcanoes.   Coincidence? Perfect Timing? or We are just so blessed? Whatever.   Happy Sunday!

Today is the last day of this year's annual gathering exclusively for all Toycon fanatics. On its 12th year, witnessed a huge mass of crowd swimming around to different toy exhibits trying to score some goodies & collectibles. Make sure you have explored all halls (that's Hall 1-2-3 + Exhibit area) and don't forget to take some snapshots of the toy exhibits. rawwwr!!! marshmallow man!!! can't get over with ZOD cuties Visit some sponsored booths and take home some freebies, just be patient in lining up. Coca-cola booth has free "coke" sakto :) and I saw Oreos given on that day (a free snack for all!). Finally, I bought a Man of Steel shirt that I have been wishing to have one last time. Also, my goal today is to check out some collectibles and wishing to buy something unique today.

I have been reading a lot of movie reviews since yesterday and I was surprised that Rotten Tomatoes scored "Man of Steel" 75/100 though I have also browsed some nonsense reactions saying that they got bored while watching the movie, on my thoughts, maybe they are expecting a typical superhero movie and bystanders shouting, "it's a bird, no it's not a plane...it's Superman (gets mo?). Rebooting any Superhero flick is such a big challenge to all movie outfits, thinking on how they can surpass the previous installment. But hey, it's a risk specially if the film didn't cover the production cost and in short -- a flop. I have seen my timeline was bombarded with last night's advance screening of Man of Steel (Superman reboot!) and I can't wait to watch it on bigscreen because I am also a big fan of superheroes. We knew that Clark Kent is not just an ordinary boy and tries to discover himself when he learned this special powers that he has; a typical story of a hero that will save the earth and mankind. Summer vacation is over, and say hello to rainy days. Good thing that I have decided to book a flight to Palawan and spent my last summer days in Puerto Princesa, Narra and Aborlan . I'm very excited to share my stories and getaways, give me more time because I have been so busy managing some of my endeavors this month (ahem, Toycon!). We scored an overnight accommodation at Hotel Centro in Puerto Princesa, Palawan. Yes, one of the best hotel accommodation according to the locals and even the tricycle driver were surprised when we told him to alight us at Hotel Centro , he offered a cheaper hostels nearby the airport and we said that we were already booked in Hotel Centro :) nyahaha and the stories we heard were remarkable about the hotel that made us more curious and excited. The atmosphere was really warm upon entering the hotel lobby to check in. The hotel staffs were very accommodating and welcomed us, they even offered several promos like city tours, island hopping, etc b...

I thought it was another horror flick but I was wrong, LOL Disconnect, is a story of how people interact nowadays using modern technology and how bad it is to some people who use the Internet for fun, bullying, fraud and even exploiting themselves. Four stories involved an aspiring journalist who made a story by convincing an online sex worker for her career break, two teens who bullied a classmate, a couple who recently lost their child and a victim of an online fraud and stole their bank accounts, and a disconnection between paretns and children, husbands and wives and their relationship. I was surprised that fashion designer Marc Jacobs played a role of a pimp :P Cyberspace has been misuse, and we have to be more responsible in anything we do or say online. Expect to flood you with Toycon 2013 updates starting this week. I've been on my hiatus in blogging but I'll try my best to feed you what's the latest in pop culture world. Last time, we were surprised with the huge crowd when Toycon 2013 had their soft-launch and presscon at Newport Mall in Resorts World Manila. It's a different ambiance and am glad that the event went successful. Featuring Toy exhibits, toy booths and photo ops with the cosplayers plus free talks from selected panels or geeks, hehehe.   The Philippine TOYCON 2013 will be held on June 14-16, 2013 at the SM Megatrade Halls 1, 2 and 3, SM Megamall, Mandaluyong City.
