Here is another interesting announcement from Easy Pha-max Philippines, country's leading Wheatgrass powder distributor.
News Release
11 June 2013
The country’s leader in wheatgrass-powder distribution, Easy Pha-max Philippines, is now called Wheatgrass C.A.N. International Inc. (WCI).
This was announced by Edward Ling, chair and chief executive officer of the six-year old company that was established in July 2007 and incorporated in November of the same year.
The old name no longer fits, Ling said. The abbreviations C.A.N. in the new name stand for cleanses, alkalizes and nourishes which reflect more what their products do in improving body health.
"Right from the start, we have focused on fact-based product information, what each of our products do for the body at the cellular level. Our staff of registered nurses and dietitians provide telephone and face-to-face counseling to our customers and our info is backed up by scientific research and testimonials from those who have benefited from our products," he said.
"There are other wheatgrass brands in the market, but with the aggressive selling of some 100 active Bio-Preneurs, our products are now available in 2,936 retail establishments nationwide that include supermarkets, drugstores and Easy Pha-max kiosks in the leading malls," he added. The Bio-Preneurs are the company's authorized distributors.
Among the retail outlets are Mercury Drug, Watsons, 7-Eleven, Generics Pharmacy, Rose Pharmacy, South Star Drug, S&R, Manson Drug, SM, Robinson’s Supermarket, Landmark Supermarket, Puregold, Shopwise, Rustan’s Supermarket, Festival Mall, Cebu Park Mall, Gaisano, CDO Limketkai.
Since January this year, Metro Manila restaurants have included the wheatgrass beverage in their drinks menu, among them Claw Daddy (Quezon City, Taguig, Mandaluyong), Makati Sports Club, Slice High Street, Relish at Ponte, Sugarleaf, Celadon, Simply Thai, Kopi Roti, Berjaya Hotel, and ADB Commissary.
Ling said WCI's business direction will remain focused on diversifying its revenue sources and delivering total customer satisfaction by bringing better health to every Filipino doorstep

The name change will unify the company's existing product line with new wheatgrass-enhanced and probiotics products that will soon be introduced in the local market under new brands, each preventive in nature addressing specific organs of the body.
Current products under the Easy Pha-max brand will remain the same and continue to be promoted as the flagship brands. The office and contact details remain unchanged.
