Touring around Sacramento
As promised to blog all the places I've visited during my first week in California. I'm still in hiatus so don't expect long posts, lol.
Old Sacramento
Located in Sacramento, California; mostly referred as Old Sacramento has a lot of things to see. From its historical landmark, it also has

Looks like filming a mid-1800s film set in the middle of the busy street. Had a nice walking around there checking out the old buildings and having fun buying souvenirs like candies and shirts (score cool bargains and inexpensive items!). Don't forget to take a lot of photos and walk around towards Downtown for another shopping spree adventure :)
California State Capitol
Home of the government of California, the building was completed according to its website between 1861 and 1874. The Capitol is one of the most recommended tourist place with its historical structure and parks featuring significant events involving California.
1. Civil War Memorial Grove
2. Life size statue of Father Junipero Serra
3. The California Vietnam Veterans Memorial Park
4. California Veterans Memorial
Upon entering the Capitol, you will be amazed on different offices and dioramas. You can even seat for a while to attend a session or any see any assembly in the making.

Note: Always wear comfortable clothes, bring bottled water and sunblock for protection. Expect long walks.
