Christmas Tree Lighting Celebrations
There were tons of lighting celebrations in different villages and in Chicago (which the giant tree can be seen at Millennium Park). We were fortunate that the temperature got warmer and gave us an opportunity to go out to witness two tree lighting celebrations.
Rosemont, Illinois
Our home is close by Rosemont (where I usually go shopping and attend conventions like Comic Con). The lighting celebration started with an ice skating dance routine followed by Mr and Mrs Santa parade. One of the main attraction on that day was ice carving and free ice skating for everyone.
Niles, Illinois
Our village welcome brightly lit Christmas tree in Oasis Waterpark. As we begin the holiday season, activities were non-stop. It was my first time to check out the celebration and it was full of FUN!
There was a fireworks display after tree lighting ceremony!

Indoor activities include band performances, food and beverage kiosks, and some stuff for sale.
Meanwhile outdoor has marshmallow campfire, farm animals feeding and photo ops with the free Niles holiday bus.
And, here's our version of our very own Christmas tree in our home and in Cavite (Philippines).
I also saw tree lighting celebration in Jefferson Park, IL when I passed by at the terminal but I was late for the ceremony and I was treated with free cocoa (thank you!).
How about you? Have you attended any Christmas tree lightining celebration or Have you decorated your home with Christmas stuff? Feel free to share on the comment box below!
Have a joyous Christmas!
