Hello Kitty friends around the world tour in Los Angeles, California

Hello Kitty is celebrating her 45th anniversary, there's a special adventure awaiting in Los Angeles so our HK team flew from Chicago to Los Angeles to experience the Hello Kitty friends around the world exhibition. We explored 5 rooms and transported into Hello Kitty's journey on different countries to London, Paris, New York, Honolulu and Tokyo!

Where to buy tickets: buy it only at https://hellokitty45.com/ - there's no third party seller so please be careful when buying to other people
Where to go: The Pop-up event is located at new LA Plaza Village in 555 N Spring St in downtown Los Angeles.

How much it is cost: Weekdays Monday to Wednesday is $27, Thursday to Sunday is $30. There's a special access in the evening from Thursday to Saturday at 9pm -$50 that includes a special gift.

What to do: You should check in first before boarding. This is a timed event so you have to be on time (they said to check in 15 minutes before your time). Right after checking in, you will secure a boarding pass and passport ID. Event marshall will escort you to the entrance door.

I'm a big Hello Kitty fan and everything is kawaii. The murals are bright and colorful. The only disappointment is the marshall is rushing us to move to the next room since they said we have 45 minutes to finish but that was not true. They kept pushing us to finish and we haven't finish taking photos of each corner of the rooms. The last room to exit was the gift shop - where you can buy souvenir items from t-shirts, jackets, toys, personalized bracelets and key chains, pins, hats, and a lot more. I've read online that other merchandises arrived few days after they opened and it was sold out in the morning. Make sure you bought all the stuff you wanted because you cannot re-enter the store.

Outside the venue you will find the Hello Kitty Toyota car and Hello Kitty Cafe X OPI pop up shop. You can buy light snacks from pop corn, ice cream, cotton candy. cookies and bottled water. Once you completed the stamps, you can get a free nail color service in OPI. The cafe also sells mugs and shirts.

Overall, the decorations were cute but lacking details. They should put more props inside like Hello Kitty figures and furniture. My expectations were high but the organizers rushed this concept and they didn't put descriptions why they selected each countries. I hope they improve once they move to the next city.
